Damage Calc

Skills deal one of three damage types, each with its own formula and multiplier zones. Identify your skill's type first, then fill the matching calculator with your panel numbers.

1 · Which damage type is your skill?

Spell damage

The skill panel shows a flat damage number (e.g. 368302). These skills ignore your Attack Power entirely.

Attack damage

The panel shows “Attack: NNNN% physical damage” plus an accuracy value — damage is multiplied out of your Attack Power.

Mixed damage

Both of the above appear on the same skill. The two halves are computed separately and added together (these builds mostly play the attack half).

2 · Spell damage calculator

Spell = (spell base + added skill damage) × skill-specific bonus × elemental + magic skill damage

The skill's flat number: comes from skill ranks (per-rank amount) and gems. To see the naked value, unequip everything and remove points — the panel then shows it.

The smaller number on an elemental gem (e.g. +16 Arcane skill damage) — adds straight onto the base. The big “+256 added arcane damage” does nothing for spells.

Talent / incarnation nodes that say “+X% damage for this skill (line)”. Sum them here; 0 if none.

Gear affixes “+X% skill damage” and “+X% magic skill damage” share one multiplier zone — sum them all into this box.

Lines like “+X% damage against enemies” on skills or gear — every line is its own multiplier zone. One box per line; don't sum.

3 · Attack damage calculator

Attack = [ weapon base × (weapon's own Weapon Attack + Weapon Attack) + added physical ] × Attack Power × skill panel Attack %

The white bracketed number on the weapon (e.g. [124]).

The “+X% weapon attack” line on the weapon itself.

The “weapon attack” row on your offense panel (from other gear and points).

Sum of “+N added physical damage” from gems and affixes. Diamonds' “attack power and added physical damage” count here — the only added damage that scales with Attack Power %.

Your panel Attack Power %. Every point of Strength gives 1%, so roughly your total Strength plus gear.

Copy the “Attack: NNNN%” number from the skill panel (e.g. 2465). That is the skill's own multiplier.

Its own multiplier zone — and the common crit damage % only applies to attack, not spells. Filling it adds an “on crit” row.

Lines like “+X% damage against enemies” on skills or gear — every line is its own multiplier zone. One box per line; don't sum.

4 · Mixed damage

Mixed skills = the two formulas above, each computed separately, then added. Fill both calculators and the total shows here.

5 · Where each stat comes from

Weapon total attackThe weapon itself (base × weapon attack %)

Notes

  • Spell damage ignores Attack Power; early on spells need no accuracy and have a fixed base, so they usually start smoother than attack builds.
  • Numbers don't match your panel? The panel excludes the conditional-damage zones — real hits multiply them in.
  • Elemental gems carry two numbers: the small one feeds spell base damage, the big “added ◯ damage” one is for attack builds only.
  • Mixed skills carry more tags, so they benefit from more conditional lines — same for incarnation tree picks.
